Michel de Hey

Michel de Hey is a true icon in Dutch electronic music. With more than 30 years behind the decks, he’s known for his warm, groovy blend of techno and house, always driven by innovation and a deep love for the dancefloor.

Starting his career in the late 80s, he quickly became one of the Netherlands’ most creative and forward-thinking DJs. His sets can shift from uplifting tech-house to deeper Detroit-inspired sounds, and he’s just as comfortable in an intimate club as he is on a large open-air stage — always delivering a steady flow and a charismatic presence.

Beyond DJing, Michel has had a strong impact on the scene through his radio shows, his own productions, and releases on respected labels such as PIV, Rejected, Snatch!, Nervous, Haven Trax and Cecille. He recently launched two new imprints, Future Feel and In the Future, supporting artists like Chris Stussy, ROD, Steve Rachmad and Ferro.

With his Kweekvijver project, he’s dedicated to giving young and upcoming talent a platform, hosting club nights and curated events across the Netherlands.
